At the Children's Learning Lab at FAU, we are interested in how children learn about and act on objects in the world. From a very young age, the ways in which infants explore objects and discover new ways to use them help them learn about various object categories and concepts. Also, this type of play and discovery can show us how young children understand the effects of their own actions.
