Ingrid Johanson and Leslie Terry direct the  Developmental Psychobiology Laboratory , which investigates biological influences on the development of behavior, focusing especially on the development of learning and memory. Current research interests include the study of the effects of perinatal exposure to drugs of abuse on the associative and nonassociative learning abilities of neonatal rats; the influence of stress in neurobehavioral development; taste aversion learning; and the development of animal models of human developmental disorders, such as attention deficit disorder.
