Graduate students in Psychology who have completed one year of graduate school, are planning on pursuing a doctorate in Psychology, and who have a superior academic record and the ability to make important contributions in the field of psychology.
The Graduate Student Professional Development Scholarship is an award of up to $2,000 per individual given by the Department of Psychology to graduate students to support training related to their dissertation research that they are unable to obtain at Florida Atlantic University. This could include (but is not limited to) workshops on statistical analysis, behavioral coding, or research techniques. The goal of this scholarship is to enhance the professional development of Ph.D. students pursuing academic and professional careers.
Recipients must be full-time, degree-seeking students in good academic standing enrolled in FAU's Department of Psychology.
